THE ARCHITECTS OF THE ROMAN RENAISSANCE - PREVIEW
The Roman Renaissance in architecture has 6 great performers: Donato Bramante, which can be regarded as the noble father, Raphael, his favorite son, Antonio da Sangallo the Younger and Baldassare Peruzzi, all linked to Raphael of warm friendship.
To these obviously we must add the temperamental Michelangelo, Bramante's enemy, first and foremost, followed by his other enemies: Raphael and Antonio da Sangallo.
Chronologically last of the great is Giacomo Della Porta, who opened the way to the Baroque, but having completed many of the works that Michelangelo had left in the half, may be included among the architects of the Renaissance.
In the next issue we will present the Roman architecture of Bramante, Antonio da Sangallo and Baldassare Peruzzi, while waiting for the next edition, you will find the works of Raphael here.
