BEATO ANGELICO
Friar John of the order of Dominican preachers, named Beato Angelico (1395 - 1455), in the years 1447 - 1448, assisted by Benozzo Gozzoli, in Vatican frescoed the memorable Niccolina chapel,
with the stories of the martyrs Stephen and Lawrence, one of his greatest masterpieces.

Other works are on display in the Vatican Picture Gallery and in the Museum of Venezia Palace.
He died in Rome in the convent of Santa Maria sopra Minerva, his tomb is inside the church.
