Friar John painted the apse of the ancient Vatican basilica, represented by Raphael in the room of Constantine of the Vatican.
This apse was demolished in the early 1600s and in the Apostolic Palace also the frescoes, in the “Chapel Parva” and in the study of Nicholas V have been lost.
