BENOZZO GOZZOLI
Benozzo Gozzoli (1420 - 1497), was the principal assistant of Beato Angelico and as such in Rome, in the Vatican, he worked with the master to the decoration of the masterpiece that is the Niccolina chapel.
Also in Rome, his works can be seen in Santa Maria in Aracoeli, Santa Maria sopra Minerva, the Saints Dominic and Sixtus and Sant’Angelo in Pescheria.
